wasting time......

I had something "new" scheduled for Wednesday, but it's taking a bit longer than expected! Until then, here is an outtake from my last engagement session in El Monte. Nothing gets a session started like a trip to the paleta store!

J & Caly.....

A few weeks ago, I shot J and Caly at the Fullerton Arboretum and Downtown Fullerton. I was lucky enough to have Marlene come along and shoot some of the images above! See if you can spot her images!
Thanks J and Caly for a great session, we are looking forward to your big day!

marnie & dave....

Our itinerary read like their first date. A whirlwind tour of North Beach that hit some obscure locations in San Francisco, but for Marnie and Dave, we were visiting the locations where their love was conceived! In October Marlene and I will be traveling to Connecticut to document Marnie and Dave’s wedding, but first I packed the family up for a weekend trip to San Francisco and a little engagement session!
After a few phone conversations with Marnie and Dave, I knew the shoot in San Francisco was going to be different. Being a San Francisco native, Dave was not really interested in shooting in front of the Golden Gate Bridge, Pier 39 or "gasp"..Fisherman’s Wharf!! (don’t tell Dave, but my family enjoyed all those locations!) Instead, Dave knows the heart of the City and wanted to concentrate on the overlooked gems. I appreciated his perspective because my style tends to rely more on love than scenery. So from a candy shop to a cafĂ©, to the roof of an awesome parking garage, I was lucky enough to spend an afternoon with two lovers, whom I now call friends, documenting such an incredible time in their lives!

Tiffany & Matt......

Where better to share the happiness of love than the happiest place on earth! A few weeks back, I met up with Tiffany and Matt at Disneyland. As fellow annual pass holders, its great to be able to go to Disneyland on any given day. It’s strange to think that some people planning entire vacations around the park when we can go on a moments notice. Tiffany and Matt we look forward to your upcoming wedding and can’t wait to see all of our other friends!!
